FULL ALBUM STREAM NOW AVAILABLE, PLUS FREE DOWNLOAD!

Dear Friends, We've just made our album Seven Sisters available to be streamed in its entirety right here.  Just click on the link in the right column of this page with the album cover/play button.  It will open a new window that will allow you to play the whole thing, skip between tracks and listen to songs over again.  You can even close this window and leave the player open so when your boss comes by your desk, to see how hard you're working... you wont have any incriminating evidence that would make him/her think you're playing around on his dime.

Aaaannnd, the best part is, the link will take you to our bandcamp page where you can download the album's single "Brother, Sister" for free to share with your friends, so they can become our friends, Enjoy!

UP LATE

Cant sleep.  Nearly 2am, and I have to be up for work in an hour anyways, so what better time for a blog update right?! We've been looking around for places to play a CD release show, and not to mention people to play it with.  We've been throwing around ideas of doing a house show, and just packing as many people into somebody's house as we can and then convincing them that they need to buy our album, or trying to book someplace here in Wilmington (And doing the subsequent convincing) ...  We've written most of the songs so they would work if we were going to play by ourselves... or play with a whole band: strings, drums, horns, washboard, potlids, etc. I personally would prefer the latter but we'll just have to see what venues are available on what dates, and more importantly, if we can find a proficient washboard player.

Seven Sisters (2010)

Seven Sisters, the debut album from Beta Radio, is haunting and heart aching. The songs on Seven Sisters take you to a place where love is essential and simple, the landscapes are familiar and ghostly and the stars hold the promise of your future once you learn how to read them. When you leave the album, the minimalistic arrangements and the sincerity of the lyrics stay with you and call you back for another listen. -Jason Fry / Deckfight / 2010
